It is the foundation of everything we do and is characteristic of our collection and processing of personal data, whether you are a customer, meet us at trade fairs, want to receive news from us, are a partner, or want to work with us.

Purpose and legal basis for personal data processing
Purpose of collecting and processing personal data is to fulfill Vitec Appva AB’s contractual commitments and obligations with our customers, as well as to communicate and share information with our partners, stakeholders, and job applicants. Vitec Appva AB also collects and processes personal data to market our products and services and to conduct market research. If you are an end user of our service, your employer will inform you about the processing of your personal data. If you are a care recipient, your care or service provider will inform you about the processing and storage of your personal data.
Rights
As a data subject, you have the right to know in which systems your personal data is processed, to have incorrect data corrected, and to know who has access to the data. Vitec Appva AB cannot delete data if there is a legal requirement for storage or other legitimate reasons, such as accounting rules or the need to fulfill a contract.
If we process your data based on legitimate interest (marketing), you can request restricted processing or deletion of your data at any time, which will be done without undue delay.
Consent and contact
You have the right to withdraw your consent. If processing is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time. Processing that occurred before the withdrawal of consent is not affected by the withdrawal.
You also have the right to file a complaint directly with the supervisory authority, IMY, regarding Vitec Appva AB’s compliance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). To whom we disclose the data and where the data is processed
All data is handled in accordance with applicable legislation and may be handled by a subcontractor chosen by Vitec Appva AB.
When Vitec Appva AB conducts marketing activities and market research, partners are selected based on the occasion and activity. To enable the partner to carry out the marketing activity or market research, Vitec Appva AB will disclose personal data in the form of contact information. Vitec Appva AB ensures that the partner processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
Vitec Appva AB works with various external systems for storing and processing personal data, such as email, business systems, and support systems.
When you register for courses, conferences, webinars, or other activities offered by Vitec Appva, your personal data will be collected to plan, implement, and invoice these events. We use one or more systems to assist us.

Period for which the data is stored
We strive to process data for as short time as possible. In cases where legitimate interest is our legal basis for processing, we strive to delete data 5 years after the last contact or other identified need.
Certain data is stored in accordance with applicable legislation (Bokföringslagen) and is stored for a maximum of 7+1 years after the termination of the agreement.
Policy changes
Vitec Appva AB reserves the right to change and update the Privacy Policy. In the event of such a change, the Company will inform you in an appropriate manner.
